Argentina: Issued communication on minimum requirements for the management and control of technology and information security risks for digital financial services

On 2 June 2023, the Central Bank of Argentina (BCRA) issued a communication regarding the minimum requirements for the management and control of technology and information security risks related to digital financial services. It applies to financial entities and payment systems considered of systemic importance for the infrastructure of the financial market including INTERBANKING, COELSA, LINK and PRISMA. It seeks to protect financial services supplied by digital means by promoting and updating the requirements related to the management of technology risks and information security, business continuity, technology, IT infrastructure, and cyber incident management.
