Adopted UK-Singapore Cyber Dialogue

On 13 June 2023, the UK-Singapore Cyber Dialogue took place, with the aim of to discussing cyber-related objectives for both nations. Led by Singapore's Cyber Security Agency and the UK's Foreign Office, the Dialogue addressed cybersecurity issues such as threat management, deterrence strategies, and the role of public-private partnerships. Further, the dialogue focused also on the security of Internet of Things (IoT), app security, and the development of cyber skills. Both parties agreed on the relevance for a potential international standard for app, app store, and IoT security. The meeting emphasised the commitment of both nations to continue their collaboration on international cybersecurity governance, building on the countries' existing cooperation through the UK-Singapore Cybersecurity Memorandum of Understanding and the UK-Singapore Digital Economy Agreement.
