Adopted UK-US Atlantic Declaration including provisions on export controls for sensitive technologies

On 8 June 2023, the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom and the President of the United States signed the Atlantic Declaration, an economic partnership agreement, including export control for sensitive technologies provisions. In particular, the parties stated they would collaborate to coordinate and enhance the export controls for sensitive and dual-use emerging technologies and technologies that could have an impact on national security. Furthermore, the parties agreed to coordinate their approach to enforcing the sanctions on Russia and other states to prevent the transfer of sensitive technologies.
