Ending of consultation of ICO Direct marketing code of practice

The Information Commissioner`s Office concludes the consultation on its draft direct marketing code of practice. According to the ICO, the draft code of practice aims to provide practical guidance and promote good practice in regard to processing for direct marketing purposes in compliance with data protection and e-privacy rules. It proposes fines of 4 percent of the annual revenue for non-compliance, ends.
