United States of America: Published Fact Sheet of 2023 DoD Cyber Strategy

On 26 May 2023, the Department of Defense (DoD) transmitted the 2023 DoD Cyber Strategy to the US Congress and published a Fact Sheet. The strategy aligns with the 2022 National Security Strategy and the 2022 National Defense Strategy, while also complementing the 2023 National Cybersecurity Strategy and replacing the 2018 DoD Cyber Strategy. To effectively address both existing and emerging cyber threats, the Department will undertake four interconnected lines of effort. These efforts include improving cyber resiliency of critical infrastructure and investing in enablers of cybersecurity operations. A summary of the strategy will be published within the next months.
