South Africa: Implemented National Policy on Rapid Deployment of Electronic Communications Networks and Facilities

On 31 March 2023, the National Policy on Rapid Deployment of Electronic Communications Networks and Facilities was implemented. The Policy establishes a process for licensees to access property to deploy electronic communications networks and facilities, including the rights of property owners and any other person whose rights or legitimate expectations may be materially and adversely affected.
