Implemented Power Regulations 2020 including e-commerce and online services sector

On 13 February 2020, the Regulations on Buyer Power under the Competition Act 1998 entered into force. The Regulations designate the sectors of dominant firms which are prohibited from requiring or imposing unfair prices or other trading conditions on a supplier and the relevant factors for determining whether prices and other trading conditions imposed are unfair. In particular, the e-commerce and online services sector has been included.
