Implemented Competition Amendment Act 2020 including Unilateral Conduct Regulation

On 13 February 2020, the Competition Amendment Act 2020 entered into force. Notably, the Amendment Act prohibits price discrimination by a dominant firm as seller if the action is likely to have the effect of substantially preventing or lessening competition or impedes the ability of small and medium businesses or firms controlled or owned by historically disadvantaged persons, to effectively participate in the market.
