Issued BCRA cybersecurity guidelines for cyber resilience of financial system

The central bank publishes response and recovery guidelines on cyberincidents. The guidelines explicitely target financial instutions and market infrastructures as well as payment account providers but can be adopted by information technology and communication service providers of the financial system. The guidelines cover the planning and preparation, analysis, mitigation, restoration and recovery, coordination and communication of cyberincidents. The latter are defined as events related to a technological infrastructure in which people, processes, data and information systems interact and that endanger cybersecurity or violate security.
