France: Adopted Bill aimed at protecting victims of domestic violence including service access restrictions

On 21 July 2020, the Bill aimed at protecting victims of domestic violence, including service access restrictions, was adopted by the Senate of France. The Bill aims to protect minors from exposure to pornographic content by requiring platforms that display such content to implement measures that restrict minors' access to the platform. In particular, the Bill would require platforms displaying pornographic content to implement technical measures that ensure adequate protection for minors, making the declaration of being over 18 insufficient.
