Closed consultation on Technical Requirements for Vehicle Information Security

On 5 July 2023, the public consultation closes on the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology draft Technical Requirements for Vehicle Information Security. The draft includes standards aiming at creating uniform rules for the cybersecurity of intelligent connected vehicles. In particular, car manufacturers would be required to establish a vehicle information security management system for the entire lifecycle of intelligent connected vehicles to provide data to analyse potential cyber-attacks. Furthermore, the draft includes safety requirements for external connections of vehicles, vehicle communication security requirements, vehicle software upgrade safety requirements, vehicle data code security requirements, and a rule for the audit evaluation of the implementation of the security requirements.
