Closed consultation on EU Commission Draft Delegated Regulation laying down rules on the performance of audits for very large online platforms and very large online search engines

On 2 June 2023, the public consultation closes on the European Commission Draft Delegated Regulation laying down rules on the performance of audits for very large online platforms (VLOP) and very large online search engines (VLOSE), as required under Article 37 of the Digital Services Act (DSA). The Draft Delegated Regulation covers processes for the appropriate selection of audit companies and rules for the performance of the audits. In particular, the Commission invites stakeholders to submit information regarding the audit methodologies as well as compliance with EU regulations on risk assessment and risk mitigation. The aim of the audit report is to assess VLOP's and VLOSE's compliance with the DSA obligations.
