European Union: Adoption of non-legislative resolution on digital taxation

The European Parliament adopted a resolution regarding digital taxation. In the resolution, the Parliament underlines the need for new rules allocation taxation rights. While a fast multilateral agreement is preferred, the EU should immediately become active to prepare a EU wide solution. Furthermore, the Parliament stresses its supporting position towards the digital levy and urges the Commission to incorporate it.
