Signed MoU on child online protection between Italian Data Protection Authority and Communications Authority

On 12 April 2023, the Italian Data Protection Authority and the Italian Communications Authority (Agcom) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on cooperation to strengthen the protection of minors online. In particular, the parties established a round table aimed at promoting a code of conduct for digital platforms to adopt age-verifying systems for minors.
