U.S. Senators introduce Bill for the Cyber Incident Notification Act of 2021 including mandatory breach disclosure requirements. According to the proposed regulation, federal agencies, government contractors, and critical infrastructure owners and operators would be obliged to report cyber security breaches within 24 hours to the Department of Homeland Security or face penalties.
