Announced investigation into Dante International for abuse of dominance on its e-commerce platform

On 22 December 2017, the Romanian Competition Council (RCC) opened an investigation into Dante International for abusing its dominance on its e-commerce platform eMAG. The RCC alleges that Dante International used algorithms to disadvantage other vendors using its eMag platform while displaying its own products in a preferential matter.
