Opened consultation on the Market Definition Notice
The European Commission (EC) opens a public consultation regarding the Market Definition Notice on June 26, 2020. It will run until October 9, 2020. The consultation will aim to evaluate the necessity of an update to the Market Definition Notice. The Notice dates from 1997 and defines the conceptual terms "relevant product" and "geographic market" and gives best practice application guidelines for EC competition enforcement.
