Enforcement of the Digital Services Act (DSA)

The Digital Services Act (DSA) came into effect on 17 February 2024, regulating all online intermediary services. However, starting from August 2023, the DSA rules have been enforced on specific platforms, including very large online platforms (VLOPs) and very large online search engines (VLOSEs). This thread includes the European Commission's investigations into the compliance of VLOPs and VLOSEs with DSA obligations, as well as lawsuits contesting designations and the applicability of DSA.
