On 25 February 2023, the Council of the European Union adopted the tenth package of sanctions against Russia. The tenth package of sanctions includes export bans of critical technology and industrial goods, including electronics, specialised vehicles, machine parts, and spare parts for trucks and jet engines. In addition, further restrictions on exporting dual-use goods and advanced technological goods, including controls on new electronic components that can be used in Russian weapons systems, drones, missiles, and thermal cameras, among others, are established.
