Implemented Ninth package of sanctions against Russia including service access restrictions on media outlets

On 1 February 2023, the service access restrictions outlined in the ninth package of sanctions against Russia adopted by the Council of European Union a result of the invasion of Ukraine, are implemented. In particular, the ninth package of sanctions expands the list of Russian media outlets that are banned from the European Union. The broadcasting of NTV/NTV Mir, Rossiya 1, REN TV and Pervyi Kanal is prohibited.
