Issued Draft Report of the Study Group on E-Seal

On 23 January 2024, the Japanese Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) issued the “Draft Interim Report of the Study Group on e-Seal”. The e-Seal is a mechanism to confirm the source of electronic data issued by organisations in electronic data transactions. The report summarises the comments made during the public consultation on the draft interim summary of the study group, which included findings regarding the usage and certification of the e-Seal.
