Announced UOKiK charges against Wakacje.pl for advertising misleading prices

On 1 February 2023, the Polish Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (UOKiK) announced it had brought charges against the company “Wakacje.pl”, a website offering travel packages from various travel agencies. Following UOKiK’s review of the website, it found that the company was misleading consumers by publishing incomplete or outdated prices in nearly two-thirds of the examined offers. The company is at risk of a fine of up to 10% of their annual turnover.
