United Kingdom: Opened consultation on implementation of OECD Reporting Rules for Digital Platforms

On 30 July 2021, the UK Government opened a consultation on the implementation of the OECD Reporting rules for digital platforms. The UK policy objectives are facilitating sellers' tax rights, tackling tax evasion, promoting international and standardised rules for business, limiting administrative burdens on business and introducing a proportionate penalty regime.
