European Union: Announced meeting on ransomware threat

A meeting with 30 countries on ransomware threat is announced by the President of the United States in his statement on cybersecurity awareness month. The meeting aims to accelerate the cooperation in combatting cybercrime and stem the illicit use of cryptocurrency to defend national security. A further goal is to build a coalition of nations to advocate for and invest in trusted 5G technology and to secure supply chains.
