Announced creation of Global Online Safety Regulators Network

On 14 November 2022, the creation of a Global Online Safety Regulators Network was announced by regulators from Australia, Fiji, Ireland and the United Kingdom. The Network consists of a partnership between the United Kingdom office of communications (Ofcom), Australia's eSafety Commissioner, Fiji's Online Safety Commission and the Broadcasting Authority of Ireland. The Network will allow online safety regulators to share information, experience and best practices in order to combat abuse, harmful content and illegal material on social networks.
