Russia: Announced amendment instructions following Russian "Artificial Intelligence Journey"

After the conclusion of the "Journey to the World of Artificial Intelligence" Conference on 12 November 2021, the President of Russia approved a list of instructions to introduce amendments. The amendments would instruct the Government of the Russian Federation to combat harm being caused by the use of artificial intelligence. On the other hand, intellectual property created through the use of artificial intelligence shall be protected. Moreover, the President recommends the introduction of legislation that in certain cases allows individuals to dispose of their personal data stored in the information systems of firms and organizations.
