Passed Connecticut Act Concerning Artificial Intelligence (SB 2) including Testing Requirements

On 24 April 2024, the Act Concerning Artificial Intelligence (SB 2) was passed by the Senate of Connecticut. The Bill would require developers to use reasonable care to protect consumers from any risk arising from the development or substantial modification of a high-risk generative artificial intelligence system. The Bill would also require developers to manage known or reasonably foreseeable risks of algorithmic discrimination arising from the development or modification of such systems.
