Implemented EU regulation 2020/1056 on electronic freight transport information including Mandatory software installation requirements

On 21 August 2024, the EU regulation 2020/1056 on electronic freight transport information is fully implemented. In this case, machine-readable information shall be made available through a connection to a certified eFTI platform. At the request of the authorities, the same information must be immediately produced in electronic human-readable format as well, on a device which must be provided by the operator. Competent authorities will be required to accept regulatory information presented in this format starting from 30 months after the entry into force of the first of the delegated acts implementing this Regulation.
