Singapore: Announced Generative AI Evaluation Sandbox by AI Verify Foundation and IMDA

On 31 October 2023, the Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) and the AI Verify Foundation introduced the "Generative AI (Gen AI) Evaluation Sandbox". This initiative promotes global collaboration to evaluate trusted AI products, with a focus on Large Language Models (LLMs). The Sandbox is part of a broader effort to establish a common standard for assessing Gen AI. IMDA has invited industry partners to participate in creating evaluation tools and capabilities within the Sandbox. Key highlights include the introduction of an Evaluation Catalogue, fostering community engagement, expanding testing capabilities, developing new benchmarks, and collaboration with leading industry players.
