Implemented AAIP Resolution 198/2023 approving Ibero-American Data Protection Network Standard Contractual Clauses

On 18 October 2023, Resolution 198/2023, adopted by the Argentinian Agency of Access to Public Information (AAIP), approving Ibero-American Data Protection Network Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC), entered into force. The SCC can be used for transfers to jurisdictions without an adequate data protection level. The AAIP acknowledges the aim of the SCCs to simplify procedures, converge different tools and establish a common standard to foster international relations and enable data transfers.
