Adopted G20 Morocco Communique including Roadmap on Crypto Assets
On 13 October 2023, the G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors issued a communiqué including the adoption of the Roadmap on Crypto Assets outlined in the "IMF-FSB Synthesis Paper: Policies for Crypto-Assets". The Roadmap aims to coordinate the implementation of a comprehensive policy framework for crypto assets. The group calls for coordinated policy implementation of crypto assets, international cooperation and outreach beyond G20 jurisdictions, information sharing, and addressing data gaps.
