China: Launched Qinglang 2023 Summer Vacation for Minors' Internet Environment Improvement Campaign

On 27 June 2023, the Cyberspace Administration of China initiated the Qinglang 2023 Summer Vacation for Minors' Internet Environment Improvement Campaign, including content moderation regulation aimed at enhancing the digital environment for young people. The campaign aims to enhance online protections for minors and establish a secure online atmosphere. The campaign is scheduled to run for two months and primarily concentrates on diminishing the presence of harmful content on online platforms, learning apps and children's smart devices. Additionally, it aims to suppress illegal activities that infringe upon the rights and welfare of minors.
