ACM fines TrendeX with EUR 100,000 for misleading consumers

On 9 December 2022, the Netherlands Authority for Consumers and Markets (ACM) fined TrendeX, an online store, with EUR 100,000 for misleading consumers. TrendeX posted fake positive reviews on its website, while also not posting real negative reviews. The ACM also found that TrendX was misleading consumers by not being transparent about delivery times of orders.
