Israel: Published Report on Digital Asset Market Regulation

On 28 November 2022, a report prepared by the Ministry of Finance of Israel's Chief Economist on the regulation of the digital assets market was published. The Report provides an overview of the cryptocurrency market, addresses the potential risks associated to cryptocurrency, and identifies the barriers for the proper development of the market. Moreover, the Report contains recommendations for the regulation of the digital assets market, including reform of the licensing and supervisory regime.
