Adopted FCC-Anatel Memorandum of Understanding on telecommunications regulation
On 26 September 2022, the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and the Brazilian Agência Nacional de Telecomunicações (Anatel) announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on effective telecommunications regulation. Through the MoU, the agencies express their interest in, among other things, cooperation in the fields of consumer protection (combatting unsolicited robocalls) and cybersecurity.
