Issued Joint Statement of Intent from the Agile Nations Working Group on Cyber Security for Consumer Connected Products

On 10 November 2022, the governments of Canada, the UK and Singapore issued a "Joint Statement of Intent from the Agile Nations Working Group on Cyber Security for Consumer Connected Products". The three governments seek to promote the development of international standards and industry guidance to mitigate cyber risks arising from network connectable products (Internet of Things), and ensure consumers’ security, privacy and safety. The Joint Statement promotes global alignment on best practices on security, including the development of standards and industry guidance.
