Consultation opened on Requirements for Classification and Grading of Information Security Technology Network Data

On 14 September 2022, the Chinese National Information Security Standardisation Technical Committee (TC260) opened a public consultation on proposed requirements for the classification and grading of information security technology network data until 13 November 2022. This draft requirements establish a standard for the classification and grading of information that aims to support the implementation of the data classification and grading protection system proposed under Article 21 of the Chinese Data Security Law. The draft requirements set basic principles of data classification and grading, data classification methods, and data grading implementation processes.
