On 19 September 2022, the Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) issued the second version of its guidance on cybersecurity in the automotive sector. The guidance addresses cyber security issues of the IT systems involved in the production and the vehicles themselves. The Guidance focuses on cyber risks and threats related to automation and the use of artificial intelligence.
