Vietnam: Implemented Decree on Electronic Identification and Authentication

On 20 October 2022, Decree 59/2022/ND-CP on Electronic Identification and Authentication came into force. The objective of the Decree is to provide a legal basis for the use of electronic forms of authentication and identification in electronic transactions, by specifying the rights and obligations of users and the responsibilities of agencies and organizations.
