Consultation opened on leveraging Artificial Intelligence and Big Data in Telecommunication Sector

On 5 August 2022, the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India published a consultation paper on “leveraging Artificial Intelligence and Big Data in the telecommunications sector”. The paper highlights the opportunities and risks of using Artificial Intelligence and Big Data in telecommunications and seeks views on challenges encountered in their adoption. The stakeholders are invited to submit comments on the requirements for AI model development and deployment in the telecom sector and provide efficient and effective strategies for the handling of Big Data, including special programming models. The consultation paper is open for comments until 16 September 2022.
