Russia: Adopted sanctions against Twitch for not removing "fake" content

On 14 July 2022, the Roskomnadzor decided to sanction Twitch Interactive, Inc. because the company is deemed responsible for "not deleting prohibited information - fakes about the special military operation conducted by the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation on the territory of Ukraine". The measure will consist in informing search engine users about the violation of Russian law by Twitch. The measures will be in force until Twitch completely removes the "fake" information.
