Commission publishes final report on Consumer Internet of Things sector antitrust inquiry

On 20 January 2022, the European Commission published its final report on the competition sector inquiry into the consumer Internet of Things (IoT). The final report outlines possible competition problems in markets for IoT-related products and services in the European Union. Furthermore, the report outlines the Commission's findings, which take into consideration comments received during the public consultation on the preliminary report from June 2021 and reaffirm its conclusions.
