Announced Consumer Connected Products project containing technical standards requirements

The Consumer Connected Products project between the United Kingdom, Canada and Singapore is launched on 20 October 2021. The project aims to improve Internet of Things (IoT) technologies security through international coordination. In particular, the countries will organize a series of policy roundtables and deliver a common statement of intent in March 2022, when the project will end. Specifically, consumers are to be protected better from insecure connected products.
