CMA opens investigation into Facebook's proposed acquisition of Kustomer including consultation on the transaction

On 30 July 2021, the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) opened an investigation into Facebook's proposed acquisition of Kustomer, a U.S. customer relationship management provider, including a consultation regarding the transaction that will run until 9 August 2021. The CMA has to reach a decision on whether to open an in-depth investigation by 27 September 2021.
